Six reasons why our one year foundation will prepare you for a place at a top college
The course is structured that you can use your development of learning from us to gain a place at a more established vocational learning institution. This will gain your entry without any confusion or insecurities along the way.
Alternatively, if you wish to intensify and accelerate your learning, to fast-track and be industry ready then you can extend your time with us on our musical theatre diploma with an added level 4 qualification in dance teaching to initiate your own employment.
On the course, you will be trained by a faculty of the highest professional calibre on Starquest Foundation Course.
These highly trained and qualified practitioners are experts within their fields of teaching and performing and will further you to develop your skills in their classes with encouragement and in-depth detail to get you on and into your next step of learning.

The course duration is an intensive one year.
During this time you will take daily classes in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial, Tap, Singing, Acting and Musical Theatre styles which will provide you with further strength in the core and develop your technique further which is required to succeed in your on-going training vocationally.
Pilates, Floor Barre and Body Conditioning sessions are included as extra curricular classes on our timetable. This enables you to have a complete understanding about body awareness and maintenance and help you improve your stamina & fitness levels.
Opportunity to take a level 3 examination (GCSE A level)
If you enter our foundation course at 16 years old, you will be eligible to take a level 3 qualification (equivalent to one ‘A’ level or GCSEs) on the national curriculums framework.
Once the level 3 has been successfully passed, you will then have the opportunity to progress onto level 4.
Grow in confidence
You will grow as part of a year group team which will give you confidence when delivering your work and assessments in front of a panel and to help you develop an awareness for a casting or entry process for either further vocational college auditions or examination purposes.
Private lessons can be offered in singing and acting which will define, add clarity and tone to your delivery for song and monologue preparation.
Starquest Foundation Course will prepare your audition repertoire in order for you to be confident in your approach to achieve further, with a better outcome.
Visiting choreographers and west-end performers
Throughout the year of training on this course with us, you and your fellow students will also have the opportunity to take classes from visiting choreographers and west-end performers, who will come into the studios and show you the latest trends and styles required from within the current industry.
Research assignments and business studies will also be looked at, as this will enable you to have an awareness of how a full-time vocational establishment works and what is required of you when you take that next step.
The aim of Starquest Foundation Course is to fully prepare you both mentally and physically for entry and life skills within a more established vocational learning institution.
There are three options available:
Option 1 – Full one year course payment of £6,500
Option 2 – Three termly payments of £2,200
Option 3 – 10 monthly instalment payments of £695
There is a £300 initial registration fee in order for you to secure your place.
This will be deducted from your course fee at the end of the academic year.
